I am really sad to say that Theo will no longer be on the show, but I feel that I need to explain why I have decided this…

I love Theo and really care for him, but the last straw came on last nights (5th July) show when I found out that he lied to his girlfriend about ‘not meeting’ my 17 year old cousin (who’s a girl) the night before… she had literally just arrived from Sweden!!

At 7:15pm I mentioned on-air that we had ‘all been out’ the previous night… when I said this Theo went quiet and wasn’t his usual self, he then asked me (at about 7:30pm) if I ‘wanted a cup of tea?’… I of course said ‘yes’… he then disappeared  for 10 minutes… I went to look for him and couldn’t find him anywhere as this was now affecting the Radio Show and the content that I wanted to do… I then went back into the studio and looked at his side of the desk and saw he had MSN Messenger open, I looked and saw he was having a blazing row with his girlfriend on MSN… I scrolled back to about 7:15pm and didn’t need to read anymore. It was apparent that Theo actually lied to his girl about meeting with my cousin the previous night??? WTF??? Nothing happened and there were a few (5 of us) of us out in Market Harborough at my WEDDING REHEARSAL!!! I don’t understand why he needed to lie? This was the first time he met her… she landed about 1 hour earlier from Sweden!!!!

This is in no way the first time that this has happened, in fact  a while ago I let him go home one night as the same thing happened…

I have treated Theo more than fairly.. I picked him up every day and drop him to his door at night after the show… I have made him a part of MY radio show, I believed in him when others doubted, I got him extra work and money etc and I made him a part of ALL parody songs and bits, I was trying to train him as a ‘producer’ so he could work ANYWHERE… and it was only last week that we discussed him working at another station if he wasn’t getting paid enough (or felt his career wasn’t going the way he wanted) when my contract is up for renegotiation in November, his microphone was ALWAYS on when mine was and he had carte blanche, in fact he had the BEST JOB IN THE WORLD!

You may be thinking that I have been extreme… but I have only ever asked him to do 1 thing during the show (not counting making tea!!)… and this is something that he constantly ignored: “Please can you NOT have MSN open nor text people from your personal phone while we are on the radio”… It’s just 3 hours… he ignored me and this affects the radio show…

In fact there have been countless times that the mics were on and I was talking AND HE WAS STILL CHECKING HIS MSN OR TEXTING!

I don’t know, nor is it any of my business what goes on in his private life, but the deal is this, I am/was his boss and a really damn cool one at that!… I turned the negatives about him (him always screwing up) into a positive for the radio show and we had a laugh about it… but deep down I was and am so upset and annoyed that he would not listen to a simple instruction and last night it was the final straw… how can I have someone on my radio show that lies to me, the audience, his girl about something so trivial?

Theo is 19 and has his entire life in front of him. I wish him the very very best from the bottom of my heart.

Born: Larnaca, Cyprus

Theodoros Kalopedis or ‘Theo The Greek’ is Robins helper/minion/lackey. He got to know Robin by stalking him in 2008 (seriously!!). He would turn up out of the blue, write weird messages and leave them on Robins car and such like. Just look at the abnormal picture above and you know that it’s true.

The safest thing Robin thought was to “keep this freak close!!”

Theo has aspirations of becoming a Radio Star that are unlikely ever to materialise as he mostly screws even the simple things up, but it makes for great material!

He has even started he started his own Facebook Fan Page as his delusions of grandeur continue.

Here’s what you need to know about Theo The Greek in his own words:

Hey everyone I’m Theo I am from a small village in Cyprus called Lefkara and I moved to England when I was 9 years old. Growing up I would listen to music all day and everyday and no matter what I was doing I would always have music on from having a shower to doing my homework and even while eating, I guess you can say that’s why am so messed up now. I’m into all types of music but I grew up with Hip-Hop I was hooked but now I found a new love and  that’s Electro I love it! I cant get enough, for the past year all I’ve been listening to is the hardest tracks from house, techno and electro and I love it so much that I even started to learn how DJ just so that I can play it to people and they would get to love it as much as I do. I have been at college for the past 3 years and I’ve been studying music. 

YEAHHHH I ROCK!!!!!!!          

My 1^st year I was at Coventry city college and I did music technology level 1 and the reason why I did level 1 is because I got no GCSE’s sooo kids STUDY HARD!!!! And say NO TO DRUGS (like Robin EVENTUALLY did!!!)! My 2^nd and 3^rd year I have been at Leicester college where I have been doing  Sound Engineering and Music Production and am loving it, I’ve learned a lot about music and the dirty little industry behind it, and the more I learn the more I want to succeed.

Here’s Theo getting beaten up on the radio:

I am a Greek Cypriot so I have a BIG family just like My Big Fat Greek Wedding but only my family is A LOT LOT bigger.

Bedtime can be a nightmare as you can imagine.

I am very close with my family and I love them all but I don’t think they love me very much to he honest because since I’ve been with Robin I’ve been getting in a lot of trouble! Although my family and especially my Mum love Robin but I think they are just happy that I have 1 friend. I think he’s my friend.

HERE’S ME GETTING WAXED. PLEASE DON’T LOOK AT MY BOTTOM! I love pain so much.

 I got my first radio gig working on Leicester Sound (that’s how I met Robin) and just by simply stalking him up to the point were he got to scared to turn me down, so then Robin felt sorry for me (bless him) so he gave me a 1 day work experience (I know 1 day) but then from that 1 day I managed to come back for the next 3 MONTHS…….until Robin got fired and of course me with him! HAHAHHAHAAAAA I have never been fired from anything until I met Robin. It was a funny day, he finished his show then his pass didn’t work to get into the building. He went into the boss and said ‘Have I been fired?’… he then just walked out. SOOOO COOL!!!!!!!!!!! Not so cool was the fact that he left me sitting there. I was there for 40 minutes until he called me up and told me that I had to go to… I wondered why no-one was talking to me.

But now we’re back every night between 7 and 10, me and Robin, 2 radio gods at the top of their game, fighting all the evil radio ninjas and getting to the top no matter what obstacles come to us along this journey. I will not GIVE UP….I WILL NOT QUIT BUT i  WILL FIGHT UNTIL I HAVE GIVEN IT MY BEST SHOT!!!!…..or until we get fired again, which ever one comes first. I think we’ll get fired again as I Googled Robin recently and he’s been fired from everywhere man!!!
